Dr. Limón

Just what the doctor ordered for Downtown’s dining scene! A Peruvian restaurant and ceviche bar with dishes like fiebre alta (high fever) and levantate lazaro (wake up from the dead, LOL) that all include a healthy dose of Vitamin C: lime. Finally, we can actually look forward to a visit to the Dr.

533 Clematis St.,

Antoniette Vegan Café

Thanks to a successful run at the WPB GreenMarket and others, this all-vegan and gluten-free bakery has amassed such a devoted, health-conscious cult following that they opened a rather beautiful permanent home — inside the Prado Spa & Salon. The menu features bagels, cinnamon rolls, empanadas, pizza rolls, souffles, cold brew by Pumphouse Coffee Roasters and the pièce de résistance: donuts in flavors like churro, PB&J, chocolate-hazelnut and cotton candy.

Now you can have your gluten-dairy-free cake… and eat it, too!

600 So. Dixie Hwy,

Venture X

This luxury, co-working concept is the newest addition to Downtown’s office options. Used to wearing many hats – in addition to his hard hat – superstar builder Dale Hedrick of Hedrick Brothers Construction is the local franchisee of fast-growing Venture X, which plans to have more than 30 domestic locations by the end of 2018. He brought the membership-based workspace to CityPlace, so if you’re looking for flexible, affordable office space, check them out.
