The owner of Downtown’s first craft brewery, West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault, knows how to dream big. John Pankauski, whose grandparents were immigrants from Poland, will release a special Mexican-inspired beer on May 2 called Dreamers Lager, a tribute to all the kids whose futures in the USA are uncertain — The Dreamers.
“Easy-drinking and refreshing, with a hint of lime, blue agave, and sea salt, it’s the signature taste of Mexico,” he said. “And you’ll get a taste of the freedom these kids deserve, I guarantee it!”
The first 50 patrons who purchase a glass of Dreamers Lager and say, “I’m a Dreamer, too,” will receive a free, limited-edition T-shirt. 100% of the proceeds from the first 100 beers sold will be donated to United We Dream, the largest immigrant-youth led community in the country, fighting for justice and dignity for immigrants. www.unitedwedream.org.
